Tips, Tricks, and Good Stuff to Know

Blendtec does not make glass jars for a reason. Besides the safety concept, glass is heavier, more difficult to grip, and harder to pour from.

There are no heating elements in Blendtec blenders. You can still make hot soups due to the frictional heat from the blades, but you need to increase blending time past the 3-minute mark. To get soups to the desired temperature, just adjust blend time accordingly.

The Blendtec Total Blender Classic can also be used for making nut butters and ice cream, as well as kneading dough, grinding grains and wheats, and for juicing whole foods. In reality, just about every food preparation task can be handled with a Blendtec blender.

For ideal operation, always spin the blade manually (by turning the shaft on the bottom of the blender) before every use. That way, the blade shaft will always be perfectly lubricated.

Always clean the blender after each use, and never store liquid of solid food in the container. A clean blender is a long-lasting, high-performing blender!
